Wyndham Rewards is giving away one million points and free hotel nights this summer and members who spread the word through their online social networks can receive more chances to win. Enter the sweepstakes at http://www.wyndhamrewards.com/save by Sept. 10, 2009. Invite your friends to enter and you will receive another sweepstakes entry for each friend who enters. Plus, each time a friend of a friend enters, you’ll receive another entry. And if you win a free night stay, your first five friends who registered will also win a free night.

Wyndham has a widget that you can place on your social media pages, including Facebook, MySpace and Blogger. Your friends can register for the sweepstakes through the widget or you can email them directly with a registration link. Members can receive up to 200 extra entries from friends.

Wyndham is giving away 20,000 points–enough points for an award stay at most Wyndham Rewards properties–to 756 winners. One grand prize winner will receive 1,000,000 points. Winners must be Wyndham Rewards members to claim their prize, but nonmembers may enroll in the program when they receive their prize notification. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada who are 18 years of age or older.

Wyndham is also offering members 50 percent off a second night or a second room for paid stays at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The offer is available on Thurs. through Sun. nights only for consecutive stays. Blackout days apply and the offer is subject to availability at participating hotels through Dec. 31, 2009. Super 8, Days Inn, Ramada and Wingate are offering 15 percent off the best available rate at participating hotels. Rules and restrictions vary by each hotel brand but in general, you must book and complete your stay by Dec. 31, 2009 and make advance reservations to receive the discount.
