Detroit Pistons basketball star Richard Hamilton has filed a federal lawsuit accusing his former business manager, Josh Nochimson, of stealing about $1 million from him. Hamilton also claims that Nochimson used 1.4 million of his American Express Membership Rewards points and used his credit card to buy airline flights and other items (further adding to his AMEX balance for more points to spend). Hamilton is seeking more than $1 million in restitution and says that money is not what is motivating him to sue, “It’s more about a sense of betrayal and justice.”
