Asia Miles members can redeem 20 percent fewer miles for one-way and roundtrip upgrades or roundtrip companion awards on all eligible Cathay Pacific and Dragonair flights. For example, a one-way upgrade from coach to business class on flights of 600 miles in distance or less will require 10,000 miles with the discount (normally 12,500 miles).

The discount only applies to companion ticket awards in business and first class. For flights between Hong Kong and London, only flights CX257, CX253, CX252 and CX256 are eligible.
