Amtrak Guest Rewards members can get up to 2,500 points when referring friends to the program. Provide up to five friend’s email addresses to Amtrak online and you’ll get 500 points for each referral who joins and travels within 90 days of their online enrollment. And your friends who travel within 90 days of their enrollment will get 1,500 bonus points. Referrals must be submitted by Sept. 30, 2009 to get the bonus points.

Guest Rewards members can also get a 5,000-point bonus when getting the Chase Amtrak Guest Rewards MasterCard and making a first purchase. The no annual fee card offers two points for every $1 spent on Amtrak purchases and one point per $1 on all other purchases.

Through July 31, 2009, Amtrak Guest Rewards members can get 500 bonus points and $50 in driving credit when you join Zipcar. Enter promotion code ZipAGR2009 when you apply–the 500 bonus points and $50 driving credit are for new members only. And don’t forget the ongoing offer from Zipcar: When you register your Amtrak Guest Rewards number with Zipcar, you’ll get one point for every dollar you spend on your Zipcar reservation.
