US Airways is giving away 50 percent more miles to Dividend Miles members who rent a car, stay at a hotel or transfer points into miles with travel partners between May 1 and July 31, 2009. For example, Marriott Rewards members who choose Dividend Miles as their earning preference normally earn two miles per dollar spent. With the summer bonus, a member spending $200 for a hotel stay would earn 600 miles instead of 400 miles for that stay. Starwood Preferred Guest members can leverage their point account balance and get a bargain flight to Hawaii. Members who can normally transfer 20,000 points into 25,000 miles can receive 37,500 miles with this promotion–enough miles for a coach roundtrip saver award trip to the Aloha State.
