Travelers who would like to share their travel experiences and advice with fellow Southwest flyers can now recommend their favorite destinations, hotels, restaurants and activities and post photos and videos at Southwest Airlines’ new online travel community, Travel Guide, at http://www.southwest.com/travelguide

Visitors to the site can create an online profile and search for information by destination, activity or theme, such as Cycling, Horseback riding, Beaches, Romance or Family Friendly. Each destination includes a general description of the city and more detailed information about the individual neighborhoods and attractions you may want to visit.

You can search for restaurants, shopping, events and things to do and view a seven-day weather forecast. After registering for the site, members can also post to the online forums and ask questions or engage in online discussions with other members.
