British Airways purchased L’Avion this past summer and the integration of the French airline into the transatlantic subsidiary of BA, OpenSkies, is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2009. A new codeshare relationship between L’Avion and OpenSkies includes frequent flyer benefits and Executive Club members can now earn 125 percent of the actual miles flown when flying on L’Avion. Customers can enter their BA Executive Club number when booking through the L’Avion Web site or with a travel agent to get the miles.
