New Toronto Hyatt and Andaz West Hollywood

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts will operate and manage the new 394-room Hyatt Regency Toronto set to open January 2009. The hotel, located downtown, will be in the center of the city’s entertainment district and adjacent to Toronto’s Fashion District. The hotel is getting a complete top-to-bottom renovation and will include rooms with signature Hyatt Grand beds, 42-inch LG flat screen TVs, modern furniture and fixtures, fully updated bathrooms, Wi-Fi Internet access throughout and more. Guest check-in kiosks will be featured in the lobby. The Hyatt Regency Toronto will become the second Hyatt property in the city, joining Park Hyatt Toronto, a category four hotel. Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has announced the second property to open under its new brand, Andaz. The Andaz West Hollywood will open January 2009 and will be located on Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Strip with panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills on one side and Sunset Strip and downtown Los Angeles on the other. The hotel will feature West Hollywood culture such as quotes from local neighborhood personalities, art installations from Los Angeles artists and impromptu music performances from some of the city’s up-and-coming musicians. There will be 257 guest rooms, including 20 suites and many of the rooms have been designed with a glass-enclosed sunroom overlooking Sunset Boulevard.
