“SmarterTravel” recently revealed the winners of their Readers’ Choice Awards, where their readers voted on the domestic frequent flyer program that offers the best value. Southwest Rapid Rewards came in first with a commanding 23 percent followed by American AAdvantage at 14.35 percent and Delta SkyMiles at 12.01 percent of the votes. Legacy airlines, United (9.02 percent), Continental (8.60 percent), Northwest (6.5 percent) and US Airways (4.42 percent) followed, with JetBlue and AirTran each getting over three percent of the votes.
