Emirates Skywards members can now book flight upgrade awards. You can book through the “Earn & Spend” section at www.skywards.com or click “Manage a Booking” on www.emirates.com to retrieve the flights you wish to upgrade.

Skywards members can now earn 500 miles for every eligible stay at Sofitel and Pullman hotels and 250 miles per qualifying stay at Novotel and Mercure hotels, all Accor Hospitality hotels. Members can also now earn 600 miles for every qualifying stay at all Langham Hotels and affiliate hotels. To celebrate, members will earn double miles for every Langham qualified hotel stay through Nov. 30, 2008.

Dollar and Thrifty are new partners in the Skywards program. Skywards members will earn 500 miles per transaction on Dollar rentals of 29 days or less, and 1,000 miles per transaction for 30 days or more. Members will earn 500 miles per transaction for Thrifty rentals outside the U.A.E. In the U.A.E., members can earn 500 miles on rentals of one to two days; 750 miles for three to four days and 1,000 miles for five or more days.
