Delta Shuttle Adds First Class

Delta Shuttle Adds First Class

Delta Shuttle northeast corridor customers will have the option of traveling in first class starting Dec. 1, 2008 (Medallion members: start looking for upgrades). Delta is reconfiguring its MD-88 Shuttle fleet to offer two classes of service–14 seats in first and 128 in coach. Those traveling in first class will get an expanded selection of snacks and complimentary cocktails along with wider, more comfortable seats while those in coach will continue to receive snack and beverage choices including complimentary wine, beer, coffee, teas, soft drinks and juices onboard. Delta Shuttle’s open seating policy will remain in place for both classes and by spring 2009, customers will have access to in-flight Wi-Fi. Through Dec. 15, 2008, Delta SkyMiles members can earn double Medallion Qualification Miles on Delta Shuttle flights between New York LaGuardia and Boston Logan or Washington Reagan after registering online at delta.com/shuttlebonus before you fly. Delta Shuttle offers 30 flights daily between New York LaGuardia Airport and Boston, and 30 flights daily between LaGuardia and Washington Reagan National.
