WorldPerks members can earn up to 100,000 miles with the latest promotion from Northwest. The bonus offer is similar to the last partner promotion in that each flight and non-flight activity is worth a certain number of points. At the end of the promotion, points will automatically be converted into miles and added to your WorldPerks account. And for those members who go out of their way to earn the most points, WorldPerks is giving prizes to the top three point-earners in each elite tier–from a $500 NWA electronic credit voucher for base members to a $10,000 vacation for Platinum members.
There are a total of 22 ways to earn points, over half of which involve Northwest Airlines flights. You can make award reservations at nwa.com, check in for your flight online, stay with a hotel partner and rent a car for a total of 20 points (five points for each activity), which is the mileage equivalent of 1,000 bonus miles. Some of the higher point-earning activities include purchasing a J/C/Z fare international flight (130 points) and purchasing a new three-year WorldClubs membership (200 points).
Register at http://www.nwa.com/mountainsofmiles by Dec. 31, 2008 and prior to any qualifying activity. WorldPerks travel and partner activities must occur after registration and be completed by Jan. 31, 2009. For flight activity, registration is required prior to ticketing. The offer is only open to WorldPerks members residing in the U.S. or Canada.
