Midwest Elite Toot Sweet

Midwest Miles members are being offered an opportunity to qualify for 2009 elite status with only four roundtrips. Through Dec. 31, 2008, when you fly eight one-way trips on a Midwest Airlines or Midwest Connect-operated flight on a published fare ticket, you will earn Midwest Miles Executive status. “We decided to do this based on our flight reductions,” said Steve Mathwig, Director, Loyalty Marketing Midwest Airlines. “We recognize that we need to retain as many Executive members as possible and wanted to make it easier for them to achieve the status or requalify.”

Executive status is normally gained after earning 20,000 miles or 25 one-way trips in a calendar year so this is a significant promotion. Executive status brings members a 50 percent flight mileage bonus, a threshold bonus after 30,000 miles, last seat availability with spending 40,000 miles for a domestic roundtrip, special award discounts and more.

You must register before flying using promotion code EXEC8 via midwestmiles.com or by phone at (800) 314-7125 (option 3, then option 2). The Midwest Miles Executive status and benefits earned through this promotion will be effective Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2009.
