The word from Hollywood is that George Clooney has been signed to star in the film adaptation of Walter Kirn’s 2001 novel, “Up in the Air”, about an unapologetic corporate downsizer whose unfettered life is obsessed with collecting miles. “Where’s the entertainment in obsessing over air miles? What’s the point?”, asks Josh Tyler at CinemaBlend.com. Mr. Tyler, we beg to differ and will be the first in line when the movie comes out. Filming is set to begin next year.
