The Economic Stimulus Plan checks are in the mail and Omni Hotels is giving taxpayers another break and offering an attractive We Pay the Tax and You Just Relax weekend package. Guests who stay at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate or the Omni Hotels Texas Collection will receive a $25 American Express gift card, a $25 hotel food and beverage gift certificate and complimentary breakfast in bed for two. In addition, Omni Hotels will pay all local and state taxes on your stay. The package is available on stays between May 1 and Sept. 30, 2008. You can choose to bask in the Florida sun in Orlando or choose from 10 Omni locations in five Texas cities, including the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas, the Omni Houston Galleria Hotel and the Omni La Mansion del Rio, where you can enjoy dinner while overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk at Las Canarias. Hotel stays start at $179 per night based on a two-night minimum stay.

If you’re planning to visit Colorado, you can take advantage of the Interlocken Resort Fill ‘Er Up package. You’ll receive a $10 gas card, one grande Starbucks coffee from Morsels and an Omni travel mug. The Interlocken resort is near Denver and offers a 27-hole championship golf course, a spa, two outdoor pools and whirlpool. The Fill ‘Er Up package starts at $114 per night.
