Oneworld will welcome its eleventh member airline in 2009 when Mexicana completes the joining process, which is expected to take up to 18 months. Mexicana subsidiary airline Click Mexicana will join as an affiliate member at the same time. The addition of Mexicana and Click Mexicana will add 24 destinations in Mexico to the oneworld network, which already has a strong presence in Latin America through LAN Airlines and its sisters LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador and LAN Peru.
