Marriott Rewards is giving a complimentary Clear card to its Platinum Elite members for a year and Gold and Silver Elite members will receive an extra month when they purchase an initial 12-month enrollment. Clear cards are currently accepted at 16 U.S. airports including all Bay Area airports, LaGuardia, Denver, Newark and Washington D.C.’s Reagan and Dulles. The usual cost is $100 per year plus a one-time TSA vetting fee and applicants must be approved by the government. Travelers can choose to either have their eyes or fingerprints scanned in order to speed through security.
