Greyhound isn’t the only bus in town. Now, there’s Bolt. BoltBus travels from New York City to Washington, D.C. in four hours with free WiFi available for passengers. The bus company made its first run late last month but already has a rewards program in place. You will get a free one-way trip after having traveled eight trips on Bolt when you log in as a Bolt Rewards member online to purchase your trips. You simply need to remember your email address, user ID and password for future bookings to earn credit. The awards trips do not have seat restrictions, but you cannot give your award trip to someone else. If you would like to give your wings a rest, check out www.boltbus.com — and did we mention the fare from New York to D.C. started at $1? Yep, like they say, Bolt for a Buck. (We don’t have word on how long that will last, but it’s a great way for the bus company to get noticed.)
