Alaska Airlines Upgrades California

Alaska Airlines is expanding the frequency of flights on routes between Seattle and six California markets. Beginning April 27, 2008, Alaska will offer 15 daily roundtrip Seattle to Los Angeles flights on weekdays (three additional flights) and eight daily roundtrips to San Francisco. Frequency will also increase on flights between Seattle and Orange County, San Diego, Oakland and San Jose. “With more frequent flights than any other carrier, memorable flight times, our award-winning Mileage Plan and a double-miles offer, flying Alaska between Seattle and California is a pretty sweet deal,” said Steve Jarvis, Alaska’s vice president of marketing, sales and customer experience.

Mileage Plan members who fly two qualifying roundtrip flights between Seattle and Los Angeles or San Francisco between March 15 and May 15, 2008 will earn double miles on all subsequent roundtrip flights flown between the two city pairs from May 16 through the rest of this year — Dec. 31, 2008. You must register for the promotion at www.alaskaair.com before your first flight to qualify for the promotion. There is no limit to the miles that can be earned with this promotion.
