AAMOI (as a matter of interest), US Airways members have a new way to communicate with Dividend Miles — text messaging from their wireless devices. You can now enroll in the program by simply texting your first and last name, email address and zip code to TEXTUS (839887). You’ll get a quick reply with your temporary Dividend Miles number and can finish your enrollment when you receive an email from Dividend Miles. You can also text your flight number to TEXTUS and you’ll get a return text with abbreviated real-time flight information such as departure times and gate information. The flight information is only available for U.S. flights on the day of travel. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Other US Airways features include the ability to download PDF timetables the first day of every month and being able to book a flight, check flight schedules, get flight status, see electronic timetables, get US Airways information and contact reservations, all from your Web-enabled telephone.
