Czech Airlines OK Plus is adding a new elite tier, Platinum, to its previously two-tiered program. Beginning in 2008, members who fly 100,000 miles or 70 segments on Czech Airlines or SkyTeam partner airlines will receive the OK Plus Platinum card. Platinum members receive a 100 percent mileage bonus, a dedicated 24-hour telephone line, the opportunity to give an OK Plus Gold card to anyone they choose, free lounge access for member and guest plus six single-visit lounge access vouchers for friends or family, Elite Plus SkyTeam status, guaranteed booking, priority baggage handling, priority waitlist, check-in and boarding and preferred seating. Members also receive 30 kg additional baggage allowance and an additional 10 kg allowance for a travel companion.

Platinum members can request a confirmed upgrade for member and a companion within 24 hours of departure on economy premium electronic tickets and at check-in on other fares. Platinum status is valid for one year and members who don’t qualify for Platinum for the following year will be guaranteed Gold status.

OK Plus partner changes include: members can no longer earn miles with Boscolo hotels and the partnership with AirRestaurant will end Jan. 31, 2008. New partners include Budget car rental, Euro24 and selected Corinthia hotels.
