EL AL Matmid Platinum and Gold members have a new exclusive award option that enables them to redeem award tickets in K or H class, which are not subject to award seat restrictions, for one and a half times the usual number of points. Furthermore, Platinum and Gold members can secure an upgrade to business class from a lower fare than before. It is now possible to upgrade a ticket purchased in B or Q class, rather than M or S class, for double the number of points. The upgrade can be redeemed in advance so there’s no guessing when you get to the airport.
