Recent upgrades at alaskaair.com now make it possible for Mileage Plan members to book stopovers and multi-city awards on Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air online. Previously, the Web site was only able to issue one-way, roundtrip and open-jaw tickets and all stopovers and multi-city award itineraries had to be booked through the call center at the 25,000-mile award level. The change allows members to book more awards online for 20,000 miles — without the extra 5,000 miles required when booking through the call center.
