AirTran Airways has introduced online booking of award flights. Members can now book roundtrip, one-way or multi-city award flights at www.airtran.com. When you log in as an A+ Rewards member, you can search for award flights and will have the option of paying with A+ Rewards credits, cash or a combination (for example, paying for cash on the outbound flight, and with A+ Rewards credits on the inbound flight).

The Web page makes the transaction very easy — you not only are presented with the various payment options on one page, but your credits are displayed on the same page so you can easily see how many credits you have available to spend. Furthermore, your name, A+ Rewards membership number and address are automatically populated when you’ve made your booking choice to help speed the process.
