American Express Membership Rewards has added Virgin Atlantic Airways and Hawaiian Airlines to the program’s Flight Finder online feature. When you use Flight Finder you can search available award inventory, transfer Membership Rewards points directly into a frequent flyer account and book an award flight in a single online transaction. AirTran Airways A+ Rewards was the first program to launch with Flight Finder and more partners are expected to join.

First Collection, a private portfolio of partners and awards available exclusively to Platinum Card and Centurion Card holders enrolled in Membership Rewards, now offers Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo gift cards. Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo awards can be redeemed for 10,000 points, 25,000 points and 50,000 points for gift cards valued at $100, $250 and $500, respectively. First Collection awards range in value from as low as 10,000 points to as high as 93.2 million points for an 18K Chopard “Ice Cube Collection” diamond watch.
