Good news for US Airways members. When US Airways merged with America West, the resulting two reservation systems caused much frustration to members when booking travel online, on the phone and at airports. The airline is now consolidating both systems into a single reservation system and the problems with reservations are expected to be resolved. The transition to the new system, called SHARES, is planned to be completed in March.
