Loyalty Programs Make a Difference

According to a study conducted by ICLP, a loyalty program provider, 70 percent of travelers interviewed rated membership of a frequent flyer program to be “fairly” or “extremely” important. Only 30 percent of those interviewed said that frequent flyer programs were “unimportant.” Furthermore, 63 percent of frequent flyer program members said they would consider booking a last-minute travel deal when receiving an impromptu communication from their FFP, while 36 percent believed such an offer would not influence them at all (the remaining one percent stating that they did not know).
