Through Feb. 15, Delta is waiving the $25 processing fee and giving a 20-percent mileage bonus to transfer miles recipients. Your friend or family members who are SkyMiles members will get more bang from your generosity. For example, if you transfer 10,000 miles from your account into theirs, they will receive an extra 2,000 miles for a total of 12,000 miles. Up to 30,000 miles can be transferred in increments of 1,000 at a cost of $0.01 per mile.
