We’ve written about this before, but it bears repeating; SkyMiles Platinum Medallion members will no longer receive complimentary (earned…) Crown Room Club membership beginning in 2007. To regain this privilege, members who earned Platinum Medallion status in 2006 and who qualified for Platinum Medallion status again in 2007 will receive a one-time discounted membership rate of $125 for 2006/2007. Members who earned Platinum Medallion status for 2007 but were not Platinum Medallion members in 2006 will pay the full rate of $250 for a membership.
