For a limited time, Northwest WorldPerks Visa Signature Card members have the ability to redeem 10,000 WorldPerks miles from their WorldPerks account for a $100 E-Cert to be used towards future travel prior to January 31, 2007. E-Certs are delivered within 36 hours after registration and redemption of miles. The offer is available until the end of this year. Members can redeem a maximum of 60,000 miles for six E-Certs.

Essentially, this isn’t a bad offer if you have a few orphaned miles lying around. But be careful… cashing in 30,000 miles to cover a $300 fare might not be wise if that seat can be had as a regular saver award for just 25,000 miles.
