National Car Rental has begun a partnership with US Airways. Under the new agreement, National customers will receive Dividend Miles for each dollar spent on rental car time and mileage. For the exact earning structure, see the “Travel Partners” section at nationalcar.com.
Note: Fame for shame. We’d strongly suggest that US Airways (and other programs) start to pay attention to their partners’ fine print. While we are huge fans of the National Car Rental Emerald Aisle service, we remain critical of their policy to charge members a fee to earn frequent flyer miles. This is their fine print, not ours: “A Frequent Flyer Service Charge of $.50 a day may apply.” As if our loyalty is not enough, we actually have to pay for the miles?
