Emirates Skywards – April, 25 2006

Emirates caters to some fairly discriminating customers, and if there’s one thing discriminating people like, it’s to spoil a perfectly good walk by knocking a little white ball into a series of holes.

To mark its recent partnership with Golf Fee Card International, Emirates Skywards is offering it members a unique opportunity to purchase the Card using cash and Skywards miles.

The Golf Fee Card alone is valid for one year and entitles members to a host of benefits, including up to a 50-percent reduction on greens fees at more than 2,000 golf courses in 102 countries; up to a 60-percent price reduction at over 6,000 quality golf resorts and hotels; up to a 30-percent discount with worldwide car rental companies (Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Sixt, etc.); and other benefits, including discounts on cruises, beauty and wellness centers, and golf equipment.

The “purchase” amount varies by status in the Skywards program. Blue level members can claim one for $55, plus 8,500 miles. Silver members need $55 and 7,000 miles, and Gold members, $55 and 5,000 miles.

Upon purchasing the card, members will receive a guide book, listing all membership benefits.
