Avis car rental has launched an incentive program called the Avis Music Giveaway that rewards customers with free song downloads from the iTunes Web site for every rental booked online through the Avis Web site through June 30.

Customers can earn at least five free song downloads from iTunes every time they rent an Avis vehicle. According to Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, there are already plans to introduce rental vehicles equipped with audio systems that allow customers to play their own digital music in-car. Customers earn five song downloads for every rental of 1-4 days. Rentals of 5 days or more qualify for 10 downloads.
