Marriott Rewards has partnered with Air France/KLM Flying Blue to offer miles for hotel stays. Members who designate Air France/KLM as their airline program of choice will receive 3 miles per dollar spent at qualifying Marriott brands. They can also convert Marriott Rewards points into Flying Blue miles at the following exchange rates: 10,000 points = 1,500 miles; 20,000 points = 3,500 miles; 30,000 points = 7,000 miles; 70,000 points = 17,000 miles; and 125,000 points = 35,000 miles. As a point of reference, choosing miles up front when staying at Marriott brands earns about a 2:1 advantage vs. converting Rewards points to Flying Blue miles later on.
