Starting Sept. 1, point levels for hotel awards at participating Choice Hotels will be adjusted on a seasonal basis. The change was designed to give members of Choice Privileges the opportunity to visit some their favorite destinations at different periods throughout the year. For example, an award at a hotel in the Colorado mountains might run 16,000 miles for an award night during peak ski season, but an award night at the same hotel might only go for 6,000 points in the summer.
