Cendant Hotel Group’s TripRewards frequent guest program is now offering points for booking travel packages and redeeming points for hotel stays overseas. Using the “TripFinder” feature at http://www.TripRewards.com, members can plan and book their trips (including flight arrangements, hotel rooms and car rentals) and earn six points per dollar spent.

According to Cendant, booking an average package of $800 yields enough points for a free magazine subscription, free movie tickets, or admission to an amusement park. Members can currently redeem their points for hotel stays or for partner rewards such as airline tickets, resort vacations, electronic goods, home appliances, sporting goods, movie and theme park tickets, or gift certificates for 46 retailers and restaurants.
