Frequent travelers applauded United again this year by giving top awards to Mileage Plus in several travel magazines’ annual awards.

Business Traveler magazine subscribers voted Mileage Plus as the “Best Frequent Flyer Program” for the ninth straight year.

In addition, Global Traveler subscribers selected Mileage Plus as the “Best Frequent Flyer Program” of the year, citing flexibility in mileage spending and online accessibility.

Kudos also came from Travel Savvy readers as well. In the magazine’s September/October issue, they named United Mileage Plus the “Best Frequent-Flyer Program” of 2004, for its “miles that don’t expire,” Economy Saver awards without blackout dates, and “chance to rack up points” by shopping the online Mileage Plus mall.
