  • British Airways Executive Club members can now convert Hilton HHonors points into BA Miles – 1,000 miles for every 10,000 HHonors points
  • Delta has designated the Safe America Foundation as the fourth SkyWish Charity of the quarter for 2004. SkyMiles program members may contribute miles to support the organization’s efforts to promote youth safety, homeland security and transportation safety.   • Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns has finalized its partnership with Points.com. Members will be able to buy and give miles as gifts in November, and transfer miles beginning in December
  • Air France and Qantas have begun offering codeshare flights between France and Australia, including six new destinations in Australia: Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney
  • Lithuanian Airlines and CSA Czech Airlines have suspended codesharing on the Vilnius-Prague route, temporarily keeping members of each program from earning miles on the other
  • Lufthansa Miles & More has added two new partners – Air India and NH Hoteles. Members can now earn and redeem miles on Air India flights, and until Dec. 31, can earn 1,000 miles for every stay with NH
  • Virgin flying club has partnered with Argyll Business Centres. Bookings for meetings will earn up to 3,000 miles per day and offices rented for a minimum of three months will earn 20,000 miles. Argyll is also providing a special introductory offer of double miles on all meeting room bookings completed by Dec. 31
  • Delta and Italy-based Boscolo Hotels have announced a new partnership. Boscolo will award four miles for every U.S. dollar spent at their hotels throughout Europe. Boscolo will offer SkyMiles members triple miles or 12 miles per U.S. dollar spent on room rates through Dec. 31
  • ANZ Australia will be coming onboard as a Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer partner effective Nov. 28. KrisFlyer members with the ANZ Rewards Visa Card, Telstra Visa Card, ANZ Sphere Rewards Loyalty Programme, or ANZ Business One Card will be able to exchange their reward points for KrisFlyer Miles
  • Formal cooperation between TAP Air Portugal and Iberia has ended as a result of TAP joining Star Alliance
  • Choice Hotels Canada has announced a partnership with Aeroplan. Aeroplan members will earn 250 miles per eligible stay at any Choice property across Canada. In the U.S. and the Caribbean, Aeroplan members will earn 250 miles per eligible stay at Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion and MainStay Suites hotels, or 150 miles per eligible stay at EconoLodge and Rodeway Inn hotels
  • Mexicana Frecuenta and Alamo Rental Car have ended their partnership
  • ANZ Banking Group is re-launching its Telstra Visa Card with a new name and offering a wider range of rewards. From Nov. 28, the card will be called ANZ Rewards Visa and the expanded program will offer a wider range of rewards including merchandise, shopping vouchers, travel and entertainment.
