Kimpton Hotels recently made news when it announced that members who stay 15 times in a calendar year are granted access to “The Inner Circle,” the benefits of which include a direct-dial phone number to Thomas LaTour, the hotel’s CEO.
This unusual perk is part of Kimpton’s new “In Touch” program, which is designed to reaffirm the hotel’s relationship with its most frequent guests.
LaTour expects 10,000 guests to sign up for the burgeoning program this year.
To sweeten the deal, Rewards Network Inc. (formerly iDine) has joined forces with Kimpton Hotels to launch Rewards Network Hotels (formerly known as Hotel Rewards by iDine) at over thirty of Kimpton’s properties. By booking hotels online through Rewards Network, or by calling Rewards Network Hotels’ reservations line, Rewards Network members earn up to 15 percent in “Cashback Rewards,” or up to 10 airline miles for every dollar spent on the room rate.
