The much heralded GlobalPass program was introducing at press time, a unique new angle on award redemption. Apparently the program has partnered with the Amedeus Click&Book reservation system, and has developed a way for members to earn miles for booking any airline travel and … a way for members to redeem certain GlobalPass miles for “award” flights on any airline — essentially using miles as a universal currency.
