Air Canada Aeroplan has changed (read: lowered) mileage accumulation at various Starwood hotels. On Jan. 1, earning for stays at the Luxury Collection and St. Regis dropped from 1,500 miles to 750; and earning for stays at Westin, Sheraton, and W dropped from 1,000 to 750 miles … American Airlines has introduced Roadpost, Inc. as a new AAdvantage program participant. Members who rent before March 1 will earn double AAdvantage miles … Effective April 1, travel on the Continental Express Bus Service will no longer earn OnePass miles or points toward elite status. The Bus Service will continue to earn a minimum of 500 miles toward reward travel … OnePass has extended its earning partnership with ShopRite through July 17, allowing members to earn one mile for every two dollars spent at ShopRite locations … Effective Feb. 1, OnePass members will earn 300 OnePass miles per stay at Ohana Hotels & Resorts properties in Guam … And staying with OnePass, the program has also announced changes to award levels on Delta flights. Effective March 16, reward travel between North America and Asia in First Class/BusinessElite on Delta-operated transpacific flights will require 120,000 miles; reward travel between North America or Hawaii and South America in First Class/BusinessElite will cost 90,000 miles when the international portion of travel is operated by Delta; reward travel between North America and Europe in First Class/BusinessElite will be 90,000 miles when the international portion of travel is operated by Delta … Delta SkyMiles has re-upped with Nextel, allowing new subscribers to earn up to 7,000 miles … Delta has added Avianca and SAM to its stable of airline partners. SkyMiles members can now earn miles on Avianca/SAM flights, and starting on Feb. 15, will be able to redeem miles on Avianca/SAM flights … Frontier EarlyReturns has been busy on the partner acquisition front, landing Dollar Rent A Car (triple miles through May 31 — use promo code FR3XM), Home Loan Center (500 miles for completing a Personal Rate Quote online at http://www.HomeLoanCenter.com), and SuperShuttle (25 bonus miles when you book your reservation online at http://www.supershuttle.com through Feb. 28) … As of Feb. 29, The Heidel House Resort will no longer be a partner in the Midwest Miles program … MCI is no longer a partner with Southwest Rapid Rewards … Beginning Aug. 1, HawaiianMiles members making date, flight, origin or destination changes to flight E-Awards will be assessed a $25 fee per change per ticket on inter-island travel, while changes on travel to the mainland or South Pacific will incur a $100 fee … In the good news department, the U.S Department of Transportation reported that Hawaiian Airlines had the nation’s best on-time service for November 2003, with 93.3 percent of its flights arriving on schedule.
