Apparently, you folks are a little more down-home in your travel tastes than previously thought.
A phone survey of nearly 600 business travelers independently conducted for Travelocity by Synovate Market Research revealed some curious facts about travel habits, and about the role of the Internet specifically. The research revealed that — of all things — comfortable bedding tops the list in terms of hotel amenities that matter most, surprisingly above high-speed Internet access and other corporate amenities.
In addition, half of all respondents said they conduct online research before booking their business travel (up 55 percent from a year ago).
