AAdvantage Members: Flying to Hawaii Soon?

AAdvantage Members: Flying to Hawaii Soon?

There’s been a little shake up with the partnership between American And Hawaiian Airlines.

Don’t fret — they’re still partners, and you can still burn your AAdvantage miles on Hawaiian, but beginning Feb. 4, 2004, there will be some changes.

For starters, the AAdvantage Interisland Hawaiian Airlines award will change from 5,000 miles to 10,000 miles. The current award must be booked and ticketed before Feb. 4 — it will be valid a year from issue, so act now, even if you don’t plan on getting there anytime soon.

Also on Feb. 4, AAnytime award travel on Hawaiian Airlines will be completely discontinued. PlanAAhead awards are still valid.
