Best Western Issues a New Card

Best Western Issues a New Card

Best Western Gold Crown Club International continues its drive for your loyalty.

The program, which was re-launched last year under the guidance of John Sullivan, has just upped its members’ earning power with the introduction of its own co-branded credit card, in partnership with Juniper Bank.

The card earns one reward point per five dollars spent, and one point per three dollars spent at a Best Western hotel. The apparent lack of earning power is actually fairly standard in the industry, as the card carries no annual fee.

And for an enrollment bonus, it’s hard to beat a free night. On first use, a cardmember will receive a 1,200 point Global free night voucher.

Benefits include purchase assurance, MasterRental insurance for car rentals, $500,000 in automatic travel accident insurance and fraud protection.

Of course, whether you have the new card or not, Best Western is still offering a 10-percent point bonus with each qualified stay through Oct. 31. Registration is required.
