US Airways is ready to take off with its plans for a new future. Although there is no estimated time of arrival, the airline is shuffling routes and aircraft around and has indicated it will join a premier global alliance in the near future. Based on past statements by both United and US Airways, who both felt their route structure formed a nice complement, it is probably safe to assume that US Airways will opt for the Star Alliance.
