Next time you’re offered Super Bowl tickets at the last minute (happens all the time, right?), you won’t have to turn them down simply because all of the flights are booked solid. United 1K members will soon be privy to 1K Guaranteed Reservations, which provides guaranteed access to an economy seat for 1K members on sold-out flights.

Reservations must be booked through the 1K reservations desk and can be made as early as seven days out, and up to 24 hours prior to departure. A full-fare ticket (YUA, Y, Y1, and Y12 fares) in United economy must be purchased and E-ticketed. The guaranteed reservation is available on all United, United Shuttle, and United Express flights in the United States. The benefit is not extended to spouses or companions.
