First Tee is dedicated to providing affordable golf access for everyone, especially children, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play golf. It is also the charity of the quarter for SkyWish’s third quarter.

Hmmm, guess we must have finally resolved those pesky little problems of homelessness, starvation, etc.

There are two ways members can donate. First, members can participate in a charity auction and bid on the “More For Your Miles” package. Golfers will love this package, which includes roundtrip airfare for two to Jacksonville, Fla., a three-night stay at the World Golf Village, ground transportation and passes to The Players Championship, March 21 to March 24, 2002 and a gift certificate to the PGA Tour Stop. The miles from the two wining bids will be donated.

SkyMiles members may also donate miles to The First Tee via SkyWish through Sept. 30. There is a 5,000-mile minimum donation and Delta will boost each donation by adding 1,000 mile to every 5,000 contributed.
