Are you getting tired of the branded hotels? Are you unable to tell by the room decor whether you are in Cairo or Chicago? Boutique hotels have been slow to tempt business travelers with miles, but The Time, New York is giving it a shot. Frequent flyers enrolled in the United Mileage Plus program can earn 500 miles at qualifying rates for every stay. Time After Time program members earn 1,000 miles per stay. How do you become a Time After Time program member? You must be hand picked by the General Manager. According to Kellie Pelletier, public relations spokesperson for The Time, taking the time to select members is one of the luxuries a boutique hotel can afford its members. In addition to miles, members are also privy to curbside check-in and, upon arrival, are greeted by their favorite snack, CD or magazine.
