Marriott Rewards is offering its members double points and double nights that accrue toward special elite status through March 31, 2002. During the promotion period, Marriott Rewards members will receive double points and will achieve elite recognition twice as fast when a second hotel stay is paid for with a Visa card. Furthermore, the timeframe for achieving elite status has been extended to March 31, 2002 — giving members 15 months, rather than the standard 12, to achieve status.
